How to Tie Your Waist Beads
-
Wrap the waist beads around you.
Put the strand around the part of your waist where you want your beads to stay. -
Find the fit you want.
Move the beads and string until the beads sit exactly where you want them. Make them tighter or looser until they feel comfortable. -
Hold that spot.
Once you like the fit, hold both ends of the string together. Do not let go or the size may change. -
Tie the strings together.
Tie a regular knot right where you are holding the strings. Pull the knot tight. This knot locks in the fit you chose. -
Tie 2 more knots.
Tie two more regular knots in the same spot. Pull each knot tight. -
Check your beads.
Make sure they feel comfortable and the knot is secure. -
Cut off the extra string.
Carefully trim the extra string hanging from the knot. Leave a small amount of string after the knot. -
Secure the ends.
For extra hold, add a tiny drop of super glue to the knot or carefully burn the very tips of the leftover string. If using a flame, do this away from your body and skin.
✨ All done! Your waist beads should now stay at the fit you chose.
To remove: Carefully cut the string. Avoid cutting directly against your skin.
